The college was established in 2018 founded by the Ramachandra Educational Trust with the vision to provide quality Pharmacy education to students across the nation. The college is affiliated to Puducherry University (PU),Puducherry and approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

SVCP offers a comprehensive package of Pharmacy education and training opportunities through the courses of Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and plan to offer Pharm.D and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) courses in the upcoming academic years.

The primary focus of SVCP is to develop and promote the holistic development of pharmacy professionals through a well-balanced synchronization of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. In addition, special emphasis is given on developing the inter-personal skills of students throughseminars, webinars and workshops etcby eminent personalities.
