Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee (Internal Complaints Committee – ICC)
The institution is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment free from sexual harassment. In accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the institution has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to prevent and redress complaints of sexual harassment.
Objectives of the Committee
- To prevent sexual harassment at the workplace and campus
- To promote gender sensitization and awareness among students and staff
- To provide a safe and confidential mechanism for reporting complaints
- To ensure timely, fair, and impartial inquiry into complaints
- To recommend appropriate action against offenders
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive complaints of sexual harassment in a confidential manner
- Conduct inquiries in accordance with POSH Act guidelines
- Ensure protection against victimization or retaliation
- Recommend disciplinary action based on inquiry findings
- Organize awareness programs and workshops on gender sensitivity
